E-Safety

The children have e-safety training as part of their computing curriculum, and parents are regularly reminded via newsletters of the importance of e-safety training at home.

CEOP

The National Crime Agency's CEOP Command (formerly the  Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners acorss the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children, and co-ordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. We protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.

Safer Recruitment

The Headteacher, SENCO and Chair of Governors have undertaken Safer Recruitment training. We follow these procedures when recruiting any new member of staff including volunteers.

DBS Checks

All members of staff, including regular volunteers, have DBS checks before they begin at the school.

NSPCC PANTS and 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' Campaigns

We have made all parents and carers aware of the NSPCC PANTS and 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' campaigns - which is aimed at preventing abuse in children and supporting children to feel confident about disclosing or reporting any concerns they have. Posters have been discussed with the children as part of PSHE to help them learn about the underwear rule.
